- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Visited the Kent County Environmental Health Department today and it was pretty awful. The lady at the front desk was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her for asking questions about a permit. A permit with zero literature about it anywhere. She stated they couldn't email me a copy of the approved permit because she didn't want people calling about it... that would be a nuisance. In addition, she told me it would cost another $100 should they have to come to our property for a "site visit." If I'd known that I would have put dimensions on our application for the exact location of our well and septic to minimize the need for a site visit. Again, no guidelines and zero help.
