Just because you wear a UNIFORM doesn't mean you can go around pointing GUNS at INNOCENT KIDS who have NO WEAPON. YOU ARE NOT JUST "DOING YOUR JOB". You are PROFILING!!!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!! But the things is, you don't CARE. To you, those were just SUSPECTS. Because they are BLACK. Just SAY IT. DON' HIDE behind "We're just doing our job". NO! You are RACIST. You're NOT black. You're NOT from THAT neighborhood or APART of that COMMUNITY. So, to YOU... EVERYONE that DOESN'T LOOK LIKE YOU...is a SUSPECT! If this was a WHITE neighborhood or a HIGHER INCOME neighborhood....(somewhere that you ARE apart of the community) you WOULD NOT have pulled your GUN out on them. Just ADMIT THE TRUTH... - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Today the company I work for had to call the police for assistance with a patient. The way they handled it was completely disrespectful. They laughed and joked and made a mockery of the situation. I hope they are real proud of themselves! they didn't handle the situation at all, they just laughed about it and did nothing. now we are left to try to remedy the situation and do their job for them! so unhappy with the way this was handled and I hope they learn to be more respectful in the futureBy Jasmine Vargo, April 09, 2017

In all my years of living in Grand Rapids the G.R police department is fast to respond and very thorough with questioning and fallowing up. Thank you Grand Rapids Police for putting your life on the line to protect victims and serving your communities by making our our neighborhoods safer and better.
