  Emrah was so unbelievably rude. From the moment I sat down in his office, I felt judged and unimportant. I don't know if it was because I was a woman, but it was obvious from the beginning that he thought I wasn't as smart as he was. He told me the information and paperwork I had brought was incorrect and that he couldn't help me with setting up my account. After I insisted that I knew I was correct and so was my paperwork, he felt it was necessary to call corporate so that they could tell me I was wrong. I was humiliated and made to feel stupid and ignorant. I ended up leaving in tears. After leaving, I double and triple checked that my paperwork and information was correct and went into a different branch, and my account issues were resolved within minutes. I was informed that I was correct and I did, in fact, have the correct paperwork, and employees at this second branch were shocked at how rude and unknowledgeable Emrah was. I will NEVER go to this branch again, and I STRONGLY recommend that others don't either, and most DEFINITELY refuse service from Emrah.

  We have never dealt with such incompetence and unprofessionalism. We applied for a construction loan on July 22, were approved. Our builder went in a week later for an interview & to turn in his builder packet personally. 45 DAYS of waiting, after phone calls & emails to both the loan officer AND his boss to get an answer, both of them promising an answer repeatedly and then not getting one. MORE phone calls to both & more excuses... 45 DAYS LATER, they finally say our builder is not approved. Then after we tell them there's no way we're working with them after the nonsense they put us through, they send us a letter saying WE weren't approved a week later. WHAT?!? I emailed our loan officer to inquire why he sent a document saying we weren't approved and to find out why he ran our credit 2 times in 3 weeks without telling us... NO REPLY. Big surprise. Long story short, we went to Chemical Bank the day we had an answer from Huntington about our builder and 3 hours later both we AND our builder are approved. Chemical accomplished more in 1 day than Huntington did in 45 days. If you want to be frustrated and bang your head against the wall, use Huntington's mortgage team. If you want to actually close on a house, find another bank.
